Elia’s Focus Forward Group Discussions have been created in place of the informal conversations that take place over a coffee at conferences. The aim is a confidential discussion amongst friends, where you can bring your own experience to the table and exchange best practice. The two topics we will be covering for this Group Discussion are Machine Translation and Connectors.
Machine translation is a topic that we have been discussing for many years, with different views and thoughts on the benefits and implications for the language industry. One of the questions we will be addressing is are we truly taking advantage of machine translation?
What are connectors and how can they be used meaningfully to provide competitive advantages for LSPs or be viewed as an additional service? How connectors save time, allowing project managers to focus in areas other than manual work?
