The Hague Marriott Hotel

If you wish to stay at the event venue please reserve a room as soon as possible. There are a very limited number of rooms on the night of Wednesday 2 October. The rate for attendees is €127.85 per night for a Delux room for one person. This includes breakfast, wifi and access to the fitness room. Adding a second person costs €16 and this too includes breakfast.

You will receive the link for booking your guest room at this rate upon registration for the conference.

Alternative accommodations

Within a 12 minute walk from the Marriott there is the Crowne Plaza and Novotel in World Forum and the Best Western.
 
The city centre is only a short tram (16) or bus (21, 24, 28, 61) ride away where you’ll find a large selection of hotels, apartments and more (Booking.com, Airbnb).

 

Travel

From Schiphol and Rotterdam Airports

The Hague is serviced by both Schiphol (AMS) and Rotterdam (RTM) airports.

Schiphol Airport

Train – trains leave from under the airport in the direction of The Hague once every 15 minutes. Some are direct to Den Haag Centraal (the central train station) and some require a quick change of trains midway. The Intercity train takes about 35 minutes and the Sprinter takes 55 minutes. The cost is €8.90 for the train. To arrive at the hotel, you can take a taxi or tram. The #16 tram will leave you 250 meters from the Marriott. You can use the following site to plan your train trip to The Hague or to the Marriott. https://www.ns.nl/en. Probably the simplest way to purchase tickets it to use the NS app.

It is also possible to purchase an anonymous OV-chipkaart (chip card) for travel by bus, tram and train (at least 20 EUR if you want to travel by train) in the whole NL. It is possible to add credit top it up with money at any time.

For traveling around The Hague by tram or bus it is possible to purchase a 1 (€7.10) or 3 (€18.00) day card at the Public Transport Holland Shop. A single ride fare is €4.

There are two public transportation stops that are within 5 minutes of the Marriott:

  • Gemeentemuseum/Museon – Buses 21, 24, 28, 61 and Tram 16
  • World Forum – Buses 28, 61
