An exciting opportunity awaits you at ELIA Together 2026, happening on 19-20 February in Porto, Portugal!
Together brings freelance linguists and language service companies together to shape the future of our industry through meaningful collaboration. Under the theme The Power of Co-Creation: Collaboration on Focus, this edition will highlight how combined expertise, clear communication, and mutual respect lead to shared long-term success.
Whether you’re a freelancer, vendor manager, or LSP leader, we invite you to contribute your insight and experience to help language professionals lead the change, rather than be led by it.
The programme will centre on two tracks:
- Track A – It Takes Two to Tango: exploring the human side of collaboration, including trust, communication, workflows, and building long-term partnerships.
- Track B – Mastering the Moves Together: focusing on knowledge sharing, managing tech and AI realities, pricing strategies, skills evolution, and smart use of technology without the hype.
Below are suggested topics to spark your creativity:
- Collaboration frameworks and workflows between LSPs and freelancers
- Financial conditions and rate models for sustainable business
- Skills for today and tomorrow: identifying, channelling, and growing talent
- Industry fields in demand: understanding, refining, and evolving
- Technology on both sides: building an ecosystem that works for everyone
- Bridging gaps between tools, expectations, and people
We want to emphasise that these topics are intended as inspiration. We warmly welcome innovative proposals, new ideas, and fresh perspectives that reflect the current challenges and dynamic nature of our industry.
