We are delighted you have chosen to accelerate your business success and become a member of ELIA, the premier association for the European language services industry. Joining ELIA is easy, we have just two membership categories and application is as simple as filling out the form below. It may look huge, but it is actually fairly straight-forward!
Two Types of Membership
ELIA brings together language service companies and the organisations that support and serve our industry.
Our membership options are designed to reflect different types and sizes of organisations, while giving members opportunities to learn, connect, raise their visibility, access practical member benefits and contribute to a stronger language services industry.
Full Membership
For companies that actively provide translation, localisation, interpreting, internationalisation and/or globalisation services and have a team of at least two people, including the owner.
- Starter Full Membership — €300/year
For eligible smaller LSPs with annual turnover up to €200,000. After two years of membership in this category, companies will be moved to one of the two Full Membership Tiers. - Full Membership — €550/year
For companies with annual turnover up to €500,000. - Full Membership — €650/year
For companies with annual turnover above €500,000.
Associate Membership
For companies and organisations that do not engage in the business of providing language services such as tool providers, consultancies, training companies and vendors with the potential of providing services to our members.
- Associate Membership — €750/year
Please note that membership begins on the date the initial payment is received and lasts for 12 months. All costs quoted are ex VAT. Starter Membership eligibility is subject to verification. Applicants will be asked to provide the required documentation confirming annual turnover.
