In this article, we hear from Arancha Caballero, who was on the Board between 2012 and 2016, and reflects on her time with ELIA.
- What inspired you to join ELIA?
Being able to know more about the actors and industry in Europe.
- What key milestones did you witness or contribute to during your time with ELIA?
I had the honour to create Together! The Board had the courage to trust me with the development of the event, probably because I was the youngest director, and I was naïve enough to take this on board, without realizing it was a big challenge. We did not even know if we were going to have any attendees. 😉
- How has ELIA contributed to your personal or professional growth?
ELIA has given me the opportunity to learn most of what I know about the industry.
- What impact has ELIA had on your company’s development?
Most of our LSP customers and providers are ELIA members. Besides, the events are a continuous source of professional development for me and my team.
- In your opinion, what has been ELIA’s greatest achievement?
Creating open discussions among industry members.
- How do you see ELIA’s role evolving in the future?
Contributing to knowledge and creating the industry of the future.
- What advice would you give to current and future ELIA members and leaders?
Get involved! You gain more than what you give.
- What is your fondest memory of your time with ELIA?
Discussions with board members, especially with Francoise, Roberto and Christian.
- Is there anything else you would like to share?
I would do it again!
