Albaglobal renews Long-Term Agreement with UN Agencies, retaining their position as UN’s main Albanian provider for the 13th year in a row

Albaglobal has been providing translation, localization and interpreting services since 2006, catering for the linguistic needs of some of the biggest local and international organizations. One of the organizations who have trusted Albaglobal with facilitating their cooperation with Albanian institutions and organizations is the UNDP*. This collaboration dates back to 2009 when Albaglobal officially signed their first Long-Term Agreement (LTA) UN Albania and its Agencies. Since then, the service portfolio has expanded to include more specialized domains and language pairs, and the linguistic team supporting UN’s motto “One UN organization speaks with one voice” has been tailored to the client’s specific needs to include:

  • A dedicated team of translators and editors for each subject matter,
  • A dedicated team of interpreters for consecutive, simultaneous and remote interpreting,
  • A dedicated team of subject matter experts, working closely with the linguistic teams,
  • Dedicated Project Managers, acting as the main point of contact with the UN Agencies.

In retrospect, Albaglobal counts millions of written translated words, pursuant to UN’s specific style guides and approved sensitive terminology, countless simultaneous, consecutive and remote interpreting events with the presence of high-level authorities and central and regional heads of international agencies.

In renewing the LTA with UN Women, on behalf of the UN Agencies in Albania, Albaglobal pledges to offer quality services for another three-year period and hopes in their humble contribution for a better and more prosperous world for future generations.

*UNDP is the UN’s global development network, working in about 170 countries and territories and helping to achieve the eradication of poverty and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. Present in Albania since 1991, UNDP works with the Government and People of Albania, including its civil society and businesses, to strengthen the rule of law, promote human rights and freedoms, protect the environment and support economic and social reforms for social inclusion and an equitable society.
