The 2026 ELIA Board of Directors election results are in, and we are delighted to announce that Alp Dilgen, Diego Cresceri and Nuria Castro Gay have been elected to fill the three open seats on the Board.

They will join continuing Board Members Aleksandrina Karabasheva, Maii Abdel-Wahab, Nenad Andricsek and Tony D’Angelo as they prepare to help guide ELIA’s work, support our members, and contribute to the future of the language industry.

Following a two year break, Diego returns to the Board with fresh ideas and energy, while Alp and Nuria will bring their valuable experience, passion and perspectives to ELIA’s leadership. Together, they will help continue ELIA’s mission to accelerate members’ business success and create wider benefits for our members and industry. Their two-year term will officially begin in October at ELIA Networking Days, when they take over from Anu Carnegie-Brown, Alina Birsan and Milena Spelta Parenti. We extend our sincere thanks to Anu, Alina and Milena for their dedication, service and valuable contribution to ELIA throughout their time on the Board.

We would also like to warmly thank Mohamad Samir, Kaori Myatt and Maria De Rose for standing in this year’s election. Their willingness to step forward, share their vision and contribute to ELIA reflects the strength, generosity and engagement of our member community.
