About Me
Afaf Steiert is President and founder of Afaf Translations, with experience of 20 years in translation multilingual industry. Where she works as a conference Arabic interpreter, and oversees all document translation services at Afaf Translations. She speaks 5 languages and has good knowledge of all Arabic dialects. She obtained her M.SC in plant molecular biology from University of Basel, Switzerland.
Presently lives in California, also lived in Holland, Italy, and Switzerland for several years where she was exposed to different languages and cultures.
Afaf is a member of ATA, Eagls, NCTA and presented at TAHIT, ELia, CitiLob and NCTA webinars.
I am willing to travel to give talks.

The languages I use for work are English, Arabic, German and Italian.
The areas I work the most in are Translation, Voice-over, Remote interpreting, Interpreting systems, Localization, Subtitling, MTPE, Quality management, Translation management systems and CATs.
