About Us

Bla Translation is a translation company established in 2013 by Alun Gruffydd when he began working as a full-time independent translator, working from his home in a small corner of the spare room! He has been a qualified translator since 2001.

The company has gone from strength to strength over the past ten years, now employing 9 local people in a suite of offices at the heart of a market town on Anglesey, north Wales. We have a passion for staff development - the company regularly finances courses/qualifications for our staff, investing in their professional progression.

In 2023, Bla celebrated a decade in business and what better way to celebrate than by winning 'Translation Company of the Year Award' at the ATC awards ceremony in London!
