About Me
Carmen started working in the translation industry in 2013 as a project coordinator. However, she soon realised vendor management was her passion.
She has worked managing vendors in small, medium and large companies all over the world, while building her expertise on how companies interact with their vendors.
Nowadays, Carmen works as a vendor manager at Ultimate Languages in northern England. She also volunteers as the Education and Mentorship Manager for the Women in Localization UK chapter, as well as managing the Translation Vendor Management Group on LinkedIn.
In 2022 she published a book about vendor management in the languages industry called Take the Plunge and debuted as a speaker in LSP Tech Talk, Meet Central Europe and ELIA Together.
