About Me
Despina holds a Bachelor degree in Translation and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing. Her research interests include Transcreation, Creative Writing, Gaming Localization, Discourse Analysis, Machine Translation and MTPE. Having 16 years of experience as a Project Manager in the localization industry, Despina is passionate about the correlation of localization and creative writing. She actively takes part in International Scientific and Industry Conferences and Events, exploring how creative writing and translation theory can be applied in the context of interdisciplinarity to benefit modern localization practices.
