About Me
Immediately after graduating as a conference interpreter and translator in 2001, I started working as an in-house translator/interpreter for a local translation company; then, after three years as a self-employed professional, I left the company to start my own and now I'm the CEO of a limited liability company, Finking. While managing my company, I'm also still an operative and keep working as interpreter and translator.
For 20 years I taught translation/interpretation at a private University in Italy. In my capacity as a professor, I've given talks to students of my own University as well as of other universities on topics ranging from remote interpretation, technical translations, micro-languages, ethics, associations, certifications.
I'm super positive and try to see the bright side of things; if there is no bright side, I make it happen.
On my office wall: "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun".
I am willing to travel to give talks.
