About Me
Esther is a language industry leader with over 20 years of experience. Her work has taken her to both sides of the pond, where she has worked as university professor, certified interpreter, translator, trainer and language access consultant. Currently, she directs interpretation services for a language service company based in Arlington VA. Esther is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and the language industry, as well as advocating for increased language access in healthcare settings. She is an active member of the Association of Language Companies, where she works to advance the goals of the ALC Bridge Committee and the Language Access Committee. She is a Barça supporter and loves to escape to her favorite Mediterranean island whenever she has a chance!
