At Elia we are committed to the mission of accelerating our members’ business success and providing wider benefits to the language industry as a whole. We do this through a dedicated team and a passionate group of Elia Board members. We recently held elections for the board during our flagship event – ND The Hague, and we are very pleased to share with you the results.

Clio Schils has been re-elected as Elia President and Geert Vanderhaeghe as Elia Vice President.

We would like to congratulate all existing board directors and welcome two new faces to the team. Richard Brooks joins us from K International Ltd, United Kingdom and Alina Birsan from AB Language Solutions, Romania. Richard will take on the role of Treasurer on the board.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to both outgoing Elia board members – Françoise Bajon and Steve Lank – for their very generous contribution to the development of the association during their time as President and respectively Treasurer.

The Elia board holds a wealth of expertise and will be continuing the Elia mission during this exciting time for the association.
