Clio Schils and Spyros Konidaris explain how the Committee for ND Focus – Elia’s networking days for Executives chose the two agenda tracks for the second edition of this unique event.
“When we sat down to brainstorm the second edition of ND Focus – Elia’s networking days for Executives, we wanted to make sure that we could build on the discussions that took place at last year’s inaugural event, as well as recreate the special atmosphere we had in Mallorca.
The result is two different but complementary tracks led by expert moderators – one that focuses on a specific aspect (Customer Experience) and one covering a range of approaches to ‘moving up’, both as an individual and as a company (Mission, Vision and Execution).
Customer Experience as a Growth Strategy
Customer Experience is a hot topic at the moment, and with good reason. Over the years, we have learned from our own businesses that customer loyalty comes from creating the right experience for them. Just as airlines have embraced customer experience as a key differentiator in their sector, we believe that it’s a big opportunity for language service companies of all sizes.
Mission, Vision and Execution
The competitive landscape in the language industry has changed dramatically over the past decade, and many successful companies struggle to move up to the next level. This track covers several aspects of what ‘moving up’ could mean for a business. We look at the importance of standing for something as a business, and how to translate that mission into actionable results for our companies and ourselves as leaders.
All this, plus the opportunity to share your insights and experiences and meet with peers confirms that Elia’s business retreat in Crete is going to be the best investment of two days that you could make this year. We hope to see you there!”
